Test of Differences in Pronunciation (TDip)®
The Test of Differences in Pronunciation (TDiP)® is a streamlined evaluation tool for clinicians who want to identify speech sound differences in their accent training clients. A screener for differences in intonation is also included. Clinicians may use information from this test to help design lesson plans and to use as a tool for demonstrating improvement before and after accent training.
The test takes approximately 30 minutes to administer and no additional materials are required.
This test is designed for adults and adolescents who are able to read General American English at a 6th grade level.
This test is not designed to diagnose speech disorders.
